Description
The AEO Practitioner Customs Simplifications Accreditation is designed for delegates who need to understand the customs compliance requirements within the AEO standard and how those requirements are applied in practice.
This two-day pathway focuses on the customs elements of AEO, including compliance procedures, self-assessment, evidence gathering, commercial records, internal controls, and maintaining effective customs management processes.
Attendance Options
Delegates can attend in person at Strong & Herd’s training room in Manchester, conveniently located near Manchester Airport and local train stations. Virtual attendance is also available, although in-person attendance is recommended where possible to maximise learning, interaction, and practical discussion.
Assessment & Certification
Delegates will complete two online assessments, one for each unit. Each assessment is expected to take approximately one hour and must be completed within two weeks of attending the course.
On successful completion of the required assessments, delegates can complete the accreditation and receive certification through SFJ Awards.

This accreditation runs on set public course dates and can be booked online. The Customs Simplifications pathway is delivered over two days and covers Units 1 and 2. Places are limited to eight delegates in total to provide the best possible learning experience.
Delegates will be supported with practical examples, knowledge checkers, discussion points, an interactive workbook, and access to additional guidance and revision resources through the Strong & Herd Study Hub.
