Description
More companies than ever before are now considering a customs warehouse as vital to an efficient supply chain. This workshop explaining how to set up a customs-bonded warehouse facility in the UK will show you how to improve your cash flow, support customs regimes and trade agreements while goods are under the customs supervision, and save money by using Simplified Procedures.
The workshop aims to guide you through customs warehousing, whether it is your own or using someone else’s customs warehouse storage procedure. It will help you to understand the legislation surrounding this, highlighting what you can and cannot do when operating this special procedure.
You will leave the course having the practical knowledge of what a Customs Warehouse is and what operations you can legally do within the CW, plus how you will record your CW movements and be able to demonstrate an entire auditable trail.
Delegates will see a benefit in attending this interactive course on returning to their working environment as the aim is not only to enhance the understanding of what Customs Warehousing is and how to operate the procedure but also to instil confidence when talking to freight companies, HMRC and/or internally within your businesses.
Course Structure and Key Topics
Throughout the day, knowledge checkers and discussion points will support the learning outcomes; all delegates are encouraged to participate and ask questions during the training. This ensures delegates are taking in the information and get the most out of attending an S&H Training Course.
