Developed for anyone wishing to learn how to complete import Customs declarations, this course also delivers essential HMRC information to forwarding agents already familiar with the processes.
It provides delegates with an understanding of how to build the data entry information, which data elements are essential, and how to declare payment methods. It also answers why we need the information in the data elements by utilising the UK Tariff Volume 3. By the end of this course, you will be able to complete a basic import Customs entry and will have gained sufficient information to undertake more complicated declarations.
This course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to navigate the import Customs process in the UK confidently, whether you are new to the field or an experienced forwarding agent.
If you are comfortable with basic CDS Import Entries and understand the HMRC requirements of the data elements, then we offer an advanced CDS Technical workshop, which may be more suitable.

The course runs from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including regular breaks and a lunch break.
