This course provides essential insights into the customs and commercial processes involved in the temporary movement of goods, whether hand-carried by sales teams or sent as unaccompanied freight. It covers the requirements for customs declarations at export and import, including ATA Carnets for temporary exports and imports and when the Processing customs procedures (Inward and Outward Processing – IPOP – will apply.
Participants will learn how to manage the four necessary customs declarations—export, import, re-export, and re-import—ensuring compliance during temporary movements, especially in light of the complexities introduced by recent trade regulations. Key topics include:
